My Thoughts

It all started when Ronan's father married Mina's mom when they were young.

Though Ronan is the ruthless new don of the mafia, he is not a womanizer which is typical for a mafia don in most novels.

Mina is portrayed as a stubborn yet gentle young woman who stole Ronan’s heart.

I like the fact that the attraction between these two never diminishes even after their long-term separation.

I’ve crowned M L Smith as a queen of erotica on Inkitt after reading one of her books for the first time.

She includes a perfect blend of swoon, action, spice, and violence in all her books.

Have a taste of this book and you will be left hot and bothered after tasting her spicy creativity.

Mafia theme books are gritty, action-packed, and give you a glimpse into the world of organized crime.

We can find not only tales of family loyalty but also tales of betrayal and revenge in these novels.

My thoughts

Leeann Mays does an excellent job of creating a believable world and making me feel invested in the characters and their struggles.

From the very first page, I am pulled into a world of darkness, following Addy and Hart.

Addy is a wonderfully crafted character and Leeann May shows her growth and evolution throughout the book.

When she is first taken, she is scared and vulnerable. But as the story progresses, she becomes stronger and more confident.

Her wit and quick thinking are impressive. And she proves to be a force to be reckoned with.

Addy is determined to break free from Hart's grasp and uncover the mysteries behind the green-eyed man.

I can't help but root for her every step of the way.

Hart is initially portrayed as a one-dimensional villain but as the book progresses, I am given a deeper understanding of his motivations and the complexities of his character.

Yes, he's controlling, observant, and dangerous. And he demands obedience but there's more to him than meets the eye.

The relationship between Addy and Hart is the center of the book. It's intense, unpredictable, and captivating.

One of the standout elements of this book is Leeann Mays' writing style.

The descriptions are vivid and bring the world to life, making it easy to get lost in the story.

The pacing is well-done and the dialogue is engaging, adding depth to the story and further immersing the reader in their world.

The book is written in a way that makes it impossible to put down. And the reader will be flipping the pages, eager to find out what happens next.
